Q1 represents a key incremental sales period for Pringles. Our brief was to develop a European commercial innovation campaign that would excite markets, retailers and consumers through embracing the gaming passion point.

As Pringles’ European partnerships & promotions agency, we were set the task of reinforcing Pringles as the go-to snacking brand in gaming. Taking some initial thinking from the lead creative agency, our strategy team delivered a knockout gaming strategy that led us to nostalgic game IP - and ultimately the biggest and most legendary gaming character in the world: Super Mario. Central to our activation ideas was a Mario NPD - a Mystery Flavour that drew on the famous mystery box prevalent in the game.  

Our partnerships team negotiated the collaboration with Nintendo, with our account team overseeing development and roll-out of this hugely successful multi-market CI.
